"Reference" banks work. Suspended work offices only closed because of the quarantine buildings, and those which have almost no customers. About 75% of all banks ' branch networks continued to operate.

Most of the questions to today, the NBU is concerned with two main topics.

The first issue the Bank does not issue dollar-denominated cash from the current account or Deposit.

Our response: the Banks have the right to speak about the reason for the lack of cash. The national Bank has not imposed any exchange restrictions. The second issue preferential service or "vacation credit".

Our answer: preferential treatment is not forgiveness of debt. This postponement of payment of principal and interest for borrowers whose financial conditions deteriorated.

Banks continue to charge interest for loans. Because parallel banks charge interest on deposits and pay them.

That is, until the action is quarantine, the interest is charged, but they can pay you after the completion of the quarantine.

Preferential treatment need to negotiate with the Bank. To do it remotely. You need to provide proof of job loss, significant reduction of income or cessation of business.

The intensification of the Bank of collectors. NBU asks banks to reorient its collection during this period. In lieu of the requirement to repay the debt, banks should be interested in the financial condition of the client.

The validity of payment cards. The NBU recommended banks to automatically extend the expiry date of the card, if it is over. Some banks have already done it.

The Bank asks to come to the Department for further information. The NBU recommended banks not to do updating information about the client during the quarantine. It can wait. Banks should not suspend the operation of the client on this basis.
